If you are someone people feel comfortable going to with lies and gossip, you need to re-evaluate yourself. Fake recognizes fake! I’ve never had someone lie to me about someone I knew because they knew I would check, first. But I have been lied on by people who knew the people they were going to wouldn’t vouch for me or defend me. Family is not always blood & strangers are often better than friends.

Set your boundaries & don’t waiver!

Don’t fret! When people show you their true colors, believe them. They don’t want to hear your side because hearing your side means acknowledging they allowed time & conflict to interfere with what was “supposed to be” a relationship with you.
